The power board provides all the low-voltage supplies and manages the emergency-shutdown interlock.

The watchdog controller keeps a close eye on all aspects of the system. If any part is out of specification, it immediately shuts everything down.

Since this is a research project, a lot of settings need to be adjustable. This is the "tweaker" board.
